Alexandria University Council agreed at its meeting  under the chairmanship of Dr. Essam Kurdi,  president of Alexandria University on the upgrade of 20 of faculty members (9 to the post of professor and 11 as an Assistant) and the appointment of 20 professor, also awarded 67 PhD and 129 master's degree in various scientific disciplines .
