Description

3-Day Cell Culture
The purpose of the Cell Culture and Stem Cell Research Workshop is to provide a solid understanding of basic cell culture techniques needed to proceed with stem cell research through classroom and laboratory work. Attendants will gain significant experience in the manipulation and isolation of cells through culture. Through integrated learning techniques, utilizing hands-on training, and lectures. Attendants will learn the biological basis and relevance of the process of culturing cells as well as the basis of stem cell research. This will allow interested attendants to translate the techniques and information learned in this workshop into their own laboratories

This workshop provides prerequisite training for the culture of numerous cell types.

Who should attend?

Personnel in the fields of Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, as well as all laboratory personnel dealing with in-vitro fertilizations, and tissue typing. Also, pharmaceutical laboratories personnel and members of the Egyptian Society of Immunology.
