Dr. Sediq Abdul Salam Tawfik - vice president of Alexandria University for Graduate Studies and Research – asserted on all deans and deputies of the University faculties and institutes regarding the necessity of the announcement for the seventh session 2016/2017 under the auspices of the University scientific research fund university to fund a number of research projects in the following areas :
1. Capacity Building Grant (AlexRep-CBG) to set research labs or develop existing ones and their rehabilitation for laboratory approval according to the quality standards of international laboratories.
2. Research Grant (AlexRep - RG) in the following sectors:
a. Humanities, Social and Educational Sciences by seventy five thousand pounds per research project maximum.
B. Health, agriculture, energy, environment, engineering and basic sciences and with one hundred and fifty thousand pounds per research project maximum.
3. Thesis Support Grant (AlexRep-TSG) (MA-PhD) with twenty thousand pounds for a doctoral and ten thousand pounds for master’s.
Noting that the deadline to apply is May 31st, 2016 that the applications should be fulfilled according to the form declared on the University website: www.alexu.edu.eg
Research project proposals shall be submitted in triplicate as well as a softcopy on CD-ROM and applications shall be submitted to Prof. Dr. / Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Office
