The Pathology Department provides essential diagnostic services that support patient care across the hospital. Our team processes and interprets thousands of specimens annually, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Anatomic Pathology: Gross examination and dissection of various specimens received from Surgery department in the institute hospital or referred from outside the institute.
Cytopathology: Fine needle aspiration cytology and fluid cytology of various accessible body lesions, however breast lesions represents the main interest as it allows helping the surgical staff in planning surgical management for various breast lesions.
Intra-operative imprint pathology as in conservative breast surgeries: Quick, accurate, sensitive method to help surgeons guarantee free safety margins during excising malignant breast lesions.
Molecular Pathology: carried during research and practical thesis stages.
