• Performing various screening and special laboratory investigations for patients, e.g. kidney, liver functions, evaluation of diabetic and cardiac patients…..etc
• Participation in scientific researches in cooperation with other departments.
• Teaching the syllabus for candidates applying a Master Degree in Chemical Pathology as well as carrying scientific meetings for the candidates of Medical Doctor Degree in Chemical Pathology.
• The staff members also supervise all theses for the two degrees.
• They also cooperate with the Faculty of Pharmacy in teaching the Chemical Pathology syllabus for candidates applying for Diploma of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumentation.

Thesis
